THANK GOD FOR BLACK MEN!

"Thank God For Black Men" is a docuseries and movement that creates a true narrative of the black male experience. We are a collective of black men from around the globe dedicated to making a difference in our families, communities, cities, states, and the world.

THANK GOD FOR BLACK MEN!

The world paints the picture that black men are a dimming light.

When in reality the black man is light that shines bright even in the darkest of nights

Yes, the impact of a black man is infinite, strong and true,

Their presence felt and needed in our families, economics, politics, sports, religion and education too.

 THANK GOD FOR BLACK MEN!

In the tapestry of life, you can find numerous black men proudly standing tall,

Sharp, seasoned pillars of the community encouraging as many as they can never to fall.

The Black Man Guides his family with wisdom, strength, love, and grace,

doing whatever is necessary to get to that space,

that place he sees with mind,

to bring his vision to pass for what he loves he works hard, hustles and grinds.

 THANK GOD FOR BLACK MEN!

In economics, they break the chains, building dreams, create opportunities for others to reign.

All while dealing with their own battles and conquering their own pain.

Black men are entrepreneurs, leaders, creators of wealth,

striving for success with unwavering stealth

sometimes in spite of declining health

and with little to no help.

From bustling cities to rural lands,

the black man's hands shape the economic strands,

uplift communities, create jobs anew,

modeling for others what it takes to make dreams come true.

 THANK GOD FOR BLACK MEN!

In politics, we’ve seen numerous black men take a stand,

and be the voices of change, demanding justice firsthand.

They are trailblazers, activists, leaders of might,

fighting for equality, and simply doing what’s right.

Challenging systems and breaking down walls,

you can count on black men to be there whenever duty calls.

Yes, black men are the architects of a better nation,

building bridges, uniting every generation.

 THANK GOD FOR BLACK MEN!

The black man is resilient and brilliant excelling in technology, science, and innovation,

their creativity, athleticism, and inventions have had an invaluable impact on our nation.

They are profound scholars with the ability to empower minds, unlock potential,

and equip other black men and that makes them essential.

We thank God for the proud, strong, hardworking, creative, innovative, scholarly, wealthy, healthy, Black Men!

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A BLACK WOMAN?

Young Children are often told to use their words. We want to encourage you to not just use your words but BE A VOICE. Did you know you can be in power, have position, give great speeches and still not be a voice?

Few people recognize the names Chester Author or Millard Fillmore. However, everyone recognizes the names Abraham Lincoln and Barack Obama. All four men were presidents who used words and gave speeches.

The difference between these great men is that the first two used their words and the latter two became voices.  Voices impact lives, influence culture, and invoke change. Your voice is needed. Your voice matters!

"To Be A Black Woman" is a docuseries where black women from all walks of life answer the question, “How Does It Feel To Be A Black Woman?” From Tragedy to Triumph, we want to hear YOUR story.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A BLACK WOMAN?

Proud – James Brown said say It loud I’m black and I’m proud and guess what I really am. I’m proud of my heritage and my lineage. You see I come from a line of strong, resilient, innovative thinkers with the skills, talents, abilities, and power to shake, change, impact, empower, influence, shape and even threaten their world.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A BLACK WOMAN?

Rejected – Shade of skin rejected, texture of hair rejected, the fullness of curves rejected, friendship rejected, intelligence rejected, love rejected. My softness mistaken for weakness. My loud cries for help mistaken for a bad attitude. Often mishandled, misused, abused and taken for granted. Mistakenly seen as a version of me society created stripping me of my true identity and forbidding me to be the authentic me, I was created to be.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A BLACK WOMAN?

Accomplished – I defied the odds, overcame every obstacle, took lemons made lemonade and opened a lemonade stand. I earned degrees, successfully raised children, took care of my home and family started several businesses. I did all of this while doing ministry and serving humanity.
